We have developed a one day workshop, “Seeing more clearly, a mindful approach to stress”, which is an introduction to learning practical research-based skills to see your stressful thoughts and feelings in a different way, so that they have less influence over your life.
Here’s a brief outline of what you’ll learn:
- You will learn
- How to set a direction which motivates you: getting clear on how you want to behave and what’s important to you
- How to be mindful and to develop an attitude of openness and curiosity
- How to notice and defuse from the stories (thoughts) that your mind tells you.
- How to work with emotions without them controlling you or you having to push them away
- How to work with problems you may encounter in this approach and tips for continuing to practice
